Throughout my 28-year career, I have held various roles such as an employee, a supervisor, a manager, a director, a contractor, and a business owner, all while emphasizing the importance of efficient processes. Some processes I developed myself when the job required it, while others were already in place when I started. To truly understand business operations, one must comprehend the perspectives of customers, employees, and management. Customers know what they want and what is needed to achieve it, while employees should be well-trained to deliver on those expectations. Those in leadership positions should prioritize customer satisfaction, employee development, and the implementation of strategies to ensure customer loyalty. This interconnectedness is essential for the success of any organization, as it forms the foundation of effective relationships within the company.

The same tools required to retain customers are equally essential for retaining employees. Failing to recognize employees as a crucial asset in maintaining our clients and customers means we are not fulfilling our leadership role effectively. Our business should establish a relational chain connecting the customer with the CEO. This chain depends on well-developed, structured processes that enhance the shopping and working environment. It resembles a meticulously crafted apple pie recipe, including all ingredients, utensils, portion sizes, and detailed instructions to produce the most delightful dessert possible. People, their work, and the resources provided to them significantly impact an organization's success. By ensuring that all elements, resources, tools, and guidelines are well-defined, trained, and monitored for enhancement, the process is optimized, leading to improved outcomes from both your team and returning customers.
